WORLD RECORD SUP CROSSING FOR CANCER

Midwest Windsurfing and Kiteboarding pioneer and Great Lakes waterman Joe Bidawid is scheduled to make a crossing of Lake Michigan|

Midwest Windsurfing and Kiteboarding pioneer and Great Lakes waterman Joe Bidawid is scheduled to make a crossing of Lake Michigan using a stand up paddle board. The crossing will take him an unprecedented distance of over 60 miles and close to 24 hours establishing a new world record. The main focus of the event, which is scheduled for late August, will be to raise money for Cancer research. Joe has been training for this mission since last August,and has already logged runs of over 10 hours. He plans on using the Naish production SUP Board and paddle. His sponsors for the event include Naish, Ripcurl and Life Force V.
