It’s the second to the last day of the Movistar Kiteboarding World Cup 2007 and the day started out quite nice and sunny but a notch cooler than yesterday, with the temperature peaking at 14° Celsius. The southwest wind was much stronger than what was forecasted yesterday so a few of the local competitors were caught off-guard and didn’t make it to the beach on time and missed their heats. Wavemasters in the morning at Pico das Almas, that’s a total of 4 days of wave competition, with 56 wave riders and pre-qualifications needed. Jose Luengo, Double Wave World Champion went through as long as Abel Lago, the challenger. Also we find a lot of Brazilian local riders that are doing good on waves.

As expected, the Movistar Kiteboarding World Cup 2007 went on another wind delay going into its 6th day as the wind did not provide ample strength to hold a competition.

The Movistar Kiteboarding World Cup 2007 is on its 5th day of competition. The weather was bright and clear but the 15° Celsius temperature still provided the chill in the air. By 11:30am, only light air breezed through the competition area which prompted the race director to immediately announce game postponement.

The Movistar Kiteboarding World Cup 2007 in Matanzas, Chile – the last stop of the 2007 PKRA World Tour kicked off to its fourth day of extreme kiteboarding competition with the conclusion of the Freestyle Single Elimination event. It was a very exhilarating day as 34 men and women from all over the globe battled it out for $40,000 prize money.
