Welcome to another wonderful day on the KPWT Santa Cruz Ocean Spirit Wave Masters 2009!
Patiently we waited for wind and it started to blow a little in the afternoon

St. Peter-Ording, Germany, July 29 – Overcast skies hovered the competition site this morning and temperatures gradually reached a comfortable 21° Celsius.  

The riders had the chance to get free massages, spend some time relaxing in the Jacuzzi or just enjoy the sun and catch up on some sleep.

St. Peter-Ording, Germany, July 28 –What else can bring a tinge of sun and heat into the moderately cool and sometimes rain-soaked competition area of the German Tour stop? Three scorching races participated in by some of the best kiteboard riders in the world.

After such a successful day on the KPWT Santa Cruz Ocean Spirit yesterday, today was far more subdued.
Yesterday stamped its mark in the history books with a huge Wave Masters event

Yes! A day with great conditions! Skipper’s meeting was called at 11am and all the riders looked excited about the chance to have some fun on the water and complete the single elimination!

St. Peter-Ording, Germany - A lot of the fans were out on the beach this morning in hopes of catching a glimpse of their favorite kiteboarder in action.

Welcome to day 3 on the KPWT Santa Cruz Wave Masters Grand Slam 2009.
