After Takoon presented a flat kite look at the Trade show in Paris in December 2004 it’s now Cabrinha – Neilpryde who are developping that concept that will become popular. This is the logic evolution of the kites needed for this sport. The kite allows you to totally de-power so for safety, smooth riding, schools, snow etc… it opens kiteboarding to a very wide public. This concept of kites was originally developped and promoted by Davinci back in 1999 in Maui Hawaii.
