The wind picked up early in the morning, and Moe was the first on the water at 7am, followed by Andre and Jason. The conditions were good, but the session could have been better. There were lots of people on the beach, and the crowd made it impossible to hit the A-frame. The direction of the wind was funky for the C-rail, so the only option was the kicker. There were some massive moves. Moe almost landed a 720, which made Dre go nuts as well. Neither actually rode out, but there were some close ones. The wind dropped off, and most of the people came in, except Jason who pushed the conditions to the limit, barely staying up wind to get a few hits on the A-frame. An hour and 3 lost kites later, Jas was over it, but there were some sick hits for sure. 2 local groms , Jake and Louis, showed up a bit later. They were able to ride around on 10m kites no problem. Louis was sticking some sick raily to blinds, and Jake almost landed a frontside 360 off the kicker! Impressive considering these kids are only 12 and 14! The wind did the usual this afternoon, so it was back to cruizing around the house. Later in the evening the die hard party people got together for another night at Shirly Heights. The usual craziness followed. Moe passed out early, and got dragged around for the rest of the night. You know the rest.
