Its now officially confirmed, from 16th to the 23rd May 2006, the first in a series of kitesurf-dedicated record attempts will take place following two years organisational work with the WSSRC. Each of four manufacturers, Cabrinha, F.One, Naish and North, has been invited to send two riders to take part in what promises to be a high adrenaline event. The 9th rider, 50Dream project leader Erick Carriere, will be in action with the lucky 8 at the Teleski Nautique (Cable Park) at Barcares near Leucate, south of France, hoping to smash the record. And the attempt will continue after that, from the 24th May to 16th June, under the watchful eyes of an official WSSRC observer ! The adventure has begun !!!
