Stance in South Africa Meeting Aaron Hadlow

January 26 2012

There are strong riders on every spot. You know, the type that makes everyone else who doesn't unhook look like a total beginner.

But a rider who's style is like a magnet, attracting the eyes of people passing by just as much as the ones of solid riders, there are not that many.

Aaron Hadlow is one of those guys. May be because of his past invincibility, may be because of his unique style... When this guy is on the water, everyone stops living just to watch him.

South Africa has been his winter spot for a while. We were therefore not surprised to see him arrive at the Langebaan lagoon.

We had ridden all morning, so we packed up the kites to pic up our cameras to get a few glimpses of the king on the water.

His best trick? No doubt a Low Mobe 5 switch, landed with hallucinating ease and personal style.

With his mate Lewis Crawthern (the British Bridge jumper), the two brits gave us quite a show, 100% new school, in the flat zone just by the beach.

Gusts to 25 knots, 85 degree air temp, 2 heros in the water... Oh how sweet is South African Life...
